New Construction Lot Sizes Continue to Shrink

You must have noticed over the years that homes for sale in those new neighborhoods being developed seem to keep getting closer and closer together.  I know I have, but I never thought of it in terms of the actual lot size.  I did a calculation a few years back that showed that the new construction homes kept getting a little smaller every year and I assumed this was to keep from having to increase prices.  And maybe that’s what’s at play with the lot size??  Or are the cities compromising on lot size so more homes can fit into a development and thus there will be additional tax revenue. Contact new-home specialist, Realtor Dan Kokesh for more information on purchasing new construction properties.
